Croatia is a beautiful country with amazing rock climbing possibilities. There are over 70 existing crags and more than 3.000 routes equipped with bolts, and plenty of rocks still left to be developed. There are over a thousand islands in the country which contribute to almost 600 km of coastline. Needless to say, you will never be far from the beach.
OMIŠ also offers excellent opportunities for free climbing. Over 40 marked climbing routes on 7 different climbing locations situated in the very heart of the town are bound to satisfy even the most demanding and experienced climbers.
BIOKOVO mountain range is a pearl of all Dalmatian mountains owing to its beauty and exposure to the Adriatic Sea. A big part of Biokovo was proclaimed a Nature Park in 1981 because of its geomorphology and its biological diversity. In the south part of Biokovo, there is also a very nice and quiet sport climbing area BRELA. It has about 70 routes in very compact vertical limestone graded from 5a-7c+.
